Ireland

Ireland is a European island state on the island of Ireland of the same name. It borders the United Kingdom (Northern Ireland) to the north and is surrounded by the Irish Sea to the east and the Atlantic Ocean to the west and south. Ireland has been a full member of the European Union since 1973.

Ireland is a classic low-tax country in the EU. 12.5% corporation tax has already attracted many companies to Ireland (including Google). If anything, the crisis of recent years has made the location more attractive as the Irish government has relaxed a number of regulations making it even easier for foreign entrepreneurs to operate a company in Ireland.
